NGO GIA TAILOR's commitment on how we collect, use and protect our customers' personal information.

1. Purpose and scope of collection

The data collected on this website consists mainly of the name, email address, phone number and address you enter in the contact form. This information is required when you send us an enquiry or wish to buy a product, so that we can contact you and confirm your request, thereby protecting your interests as a consumer.

Members are responsible for keeping their own account details and mailbox secure, and for all activity carried out using the information they provide. Members are also responsible for notifying us promptly of any unauthorised use, abuse, or breach of security involving their registered name and password by a third party, so that we can take appropriate action.

2. Scope of use

We use the information members provide in order to:

  • Contact members to confirm orders and arrange delivery when requested;
  • Provide product information to customers on request;
  • Send marketing and promotional emails about the goods we sell;
  • Send notices about activity on the website;
  • Contact and assist users in exceptional cases;
  • We do not use personal information for any purpose other than confirmation and contact relating to a transaction;
  • Respond to requests from judicial authorities, including the procuracy, the courts and the investigating police, in connection with a breach of the law by a customer.

3. Retention period

A member's personal data is retained until the member asks the administrators to delete it. In all other cases, members' personal information is held securely on our servers.

Access to a customer's personal information is limited to the following:

  • Employees of the company;
  • Partners under contract to deliver part of the company's services. These partners receive information as agreed in the contract (either part or all of it, depending on the contract terms) in order to support users of the services the company provides.

Members are entitled to review, update, amend or delete their own personal information by contacting the website administrators to carry this out.

Members are entitled to raise a complaint about our handling of their information by contacting the website administrators. On receiving such feedback we will verify the details, and where the complaint is confirmed we will take appropriate corrective action according to its severity.

7. Mechanism for receiving and resolving consumer complaints

Any dispute between the company and a user will first be resolved through negotiation. If no satisfactory agreement is reached, either party may bring the matter before a competent People's Court.

Where negotiation and conciliation fail, the aggrieved party should gather evidence such as emails and messages and contact the company. The company will then contact the complainant to resolve the matter.

If a matter falls outside its authority, the company will refer it to the competent state authorities. In such cases the company will continue to cooperate in order to protect the aggrieved party as fully as possible.

Members' personal information is guaranteed to be kept strictly confidential in accordance with our personal data protection policy. Each member's information is collected and used only with that customer's consent, except where the law provides otherwise.

We do not use, transfer, supply or disclose a member's personal information to any third party without that member's consent.

Should the server holding this information be attacked by hackers and member data be lost, we will report the incident to the authorities for prompt investigation and inform the members concerned.

All of a member's online transaction information — including invoices, accounting records and digitised documents — is kept strictly confidential.

When registering or placing an order, individuals are required to supply complete personal details such as full name, contact address, email and phone number, and are responsible for the legal accuracy of that information. The administrators accept no responsibility for, and will not resolve, any complaint concerning a member's interests where the personal information supplied at registration is found to be inaccurate.
